Service Plans
Service Plans are a requirement for assisted living communities. They often illustrate services being provided and the associated service level for billing. This plan requires signatures of parties involved and must be kept in the chart. Currently these plans are as unique as the individual communities using them.
- How is your community completing this process?
- Who in the community is creating the service plan for residents?
- Is there documentation in the clinical record that supports the need for services provided?
Take the guess-work out of service plan creation. ECS generates a service plan based on the completed assessment. The assessment evaluates the resident's abilities and needs and is completed according to your community policy. The user also addresses what will be done to meet the needs of the resident. Staff, residents, family and payers clearly see the services being provided and why the resident is in the level specified. Creating and updating are no longer separate processes. This increases staff efficiency and eliminates forgotten updates!
